What We Do
NYE serves girls in the underserved Jane and Finch community through free, accessible programming, nurturing all aspects of their development and growth, by removing barriers and creating opportunities where they’re needed most.
Basketball Training & Mentorship
Skill-building training sessions led by NCCP-certified coaches and mentorship that builds confidence and teamwork!
Leadership & Life Skills
Workshops that grow leadership, goal-setting, resilience, and communication, both on and off the court!
Homework help and literacy support that strengthens reading skills, school success, and self-confidence!

NYE has received $13,000 in grant funding to keep our programs free and accessible for girls in the Jane & Finch community
Ontario Coaches Association Community Coaching Grant - $1000:
Supported the procurement of safe, accessible basketball equipment and training resources
Canadian Tire Jumpstart Community Development Grant - $7000:
Funding our 2026 year-long Girls Got Game Development Program (includes training sessions, leadership workshops and homework help)
